Clayton Bay Community Association Incorporated
The CBCA Inc. is a local volunteer organisation that represents and advises its members on any matters affecting the area or residents of Clayton Bay and in dealing with local Councils, State or Federal Government bodies.

It maintains the Clayton Bay Community Hall and recreation area. It promotes interest in the facilities of the Clayton Bay area and promotes or arranges social functions and activities for the Clayton Bay area, for the benefit of the community. It has proved invaluable in advocating for improved facilities and infrastructure in the area.

Clayton Bay ratepayers, residents or interested persons can join as a member of the CBCA Inc., subject to the conditions in the Rules of Association. Membership fees are minimal. To be able to achieve their activities, the CCA Inc. raises money from recycling glass and government grants. The Alexandrina Council also provides effective support to the CCA Inc.

Each year at an annual general meeting (check the Chronicle for the dates etc), the financial members eligible to vote elect position holders to the Management Committee.


The Association produces its local paper, the "Clayton Bay Chronicle", a comprehensive Association newsletter. Non-members can purchase a copy of The Chronicle from Sails at Clayton Bay.

The CBCA Inc. has a number of volunteer sub committees ie: The Foreshore sub committee, events sub committee, waterwatch sub committee and other specialty groups that achieve a comprehensive range of tasks for the benefit of the area.

New residents to Clayton Bay can be given a free "welcome pack" that is extremely informative.
